Emily's Holiday Home Decor
Today, we are so excited to be sharing emily’s christmas home decor! emily prefers to DECORATE FOR SEASONS BY BRINGING IN NATURAL OBJECTS AND using neutral SEASONAL COLOR PALETTES. she is a firm believer in MAKING SMALL, EASY CHANGES IN YOUR HOME AND ADDING SUBTLE TOUCHES OF WINTER AND HOLIDAY that will MAKE A BIG IMPACT! this year, she loved to subtly incorporate brass tones as you can see in the candles, bells, and other decorations found throughout her home. this metal tone adds so much warmth and a subtle brightness to her holiday home!
iin her entryway, she kept most of her main decor the same (SUCH AS THE MIRROR, BASKETS, AND TABLE LAMP) while ADDing SUBTLE WINTER TOUCHES! she added preserved evergreen dried stems to her vase. she also ADDED BRASS bells FOR WARMTH AND faux life-like garland for HOLIDAY TOUCH AND TEXTURE. her entryway is so inviting with warm christmas touches.
Emily opted for a more asymmetrical mantel this year by having faux garland cascading more to one side for a more organic and natural feel. She layered in wood beaded garland throughout to add more texture and dimension against the greenery. The knit stockings were all placed on one side of the mantel along with some brass bells to create more of that asymmetry. She added terracotta Christmas trees of varying heights to bring in a different texture, along with brass candlesticks for some brightness and warmth.
Emily loved decorating her girls’ rooms this year for the holidays! She used an affordable garland from Amazon along both of the girls’ headboards to bring in some natural greenery and a festive touch. She strung brass bells along the greenery and added velvet ribbon at the ends which adds a girly, youthful touch.
