E-Design is really just a “fancier” term for Online or Virtual Design. The entire process is done online which allows for convenience, affordable prices and (almost) instant visualization of your Exterior Design project to gain 100% confidence before brinGing it to life. Utilizing our online Exterior Design services can avoid having to spend thousands of dollars on costly mistakes. Exterior projects are not cheap. Our expertise will help guide your projects to ensure that you will achieve the desired outcome- we take the guesswork out of it! With the completion of a Design Questionnaire, along with uploading a few photos of your Exterior- you can have a home Exterior designed exactly to your liking and ready to work with a professional to bring to life!
Exterior design with Porche & Co. is still a true collaboration between a designer and client- we will communicate via email or chat throughout the process. With Porche & Co., there are NO hidden fees (like some of the “big box” online design services). After purchase, all of the communication is either done by email or chat on the design platform, which allows you to maintain flexibility in your schedule (no scheduling or waiting around for an in-person professional).
When your Exterior Design is completed, you will have a fully transformed Exterior along with an online shopping list of products used in your design!

⌂ WHAT EXACTLY IS PORCHE & CO. EXTERIORS?
Our Exterior Design division works with you virtually just like our Interior Design division- only we help make the OUTSIDE of your home just as beautiful as the inside. We help with selections like paint colors, front porch decor, lighting, shutters, and landscaping as well as incorporate new exterior elements like awnings, dormers, and porticos.
⌂ HOW DOES THE PROCESS WORK?
The process is easy and will allow you to sit back and RELAX while watching your dream exterior be visually brought to life! Once you purchase the design package that best fits your needs, you will complete a brief questionnaire telling us as much about your exterior project as possible including all your wishes and wants for the exterior of your home. We do ask that you be as detailed as possible! Whether you purchased a paint consultation or a 2D Vision Board let us know what you love! What colors and styles are you drawn to! Once we review the questionnaire we get busy designing your outdoor space and will send you your design within our design platform where we can continue conversations until you are happy! Once we submit the design you have 10 days for revisions to ensure you are completely satisfied with the design! Once 10 days have passed we will charge a $50 fee for each element you would like revised.
⌂ HOW DO I KNOW WHAT EXTERIOR PACKAGE IS RIGHT FOR ME?
This is an easy one! If you are only looking to get a few options for paint recommendations then our Paint Consultation is right for you! If you want to see recommended design elements for facade upgrades like paint, shutters, door, front stoop decor, or lighting then our exterior 2D Vision board is the right choice for you. You can also select the 2D Vision board if you are looking to update the exterior spaces in your backyard (pool, deck, patio).
⌂ HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE DURING THE DESIGN PROCESS?
Standard Client communication takes place digitally via your custom design board portals. Scheduled phone calls can be reserved with your designer if needed as well. Our typical design hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 10am and 5pm EST. Because we value our clients’ personal time as well as our own rest and family time, we typically stay out of our inbox and the design portal on the evenings and weekends.
⌂ WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME FOR MY EXTERIOR DESIGN?
After you purchase your package, submit pictures, and complete the questionnaire our current turnaround time is 4 to 5 weeks for the Exterior Vision Board package. The Paint Package turn around time is currently around 4 weeks with a “Rush” option for an additional $150 which will expedite your design to 5 business days or less. There is no rush option available for the Exterior Vision Board.
We have a lot of clients that secure their design package spot, but are not yet ready to begin the design process for a few weeks/months. This is completely fine- we always say, YOUR timeline is OUR timeline :) You will let us know your timeline within the Design Questionnaire!
⌂ DO YOU OFFER REVISIONS AFTER THE FIRST EXTERIOR DESIGN?
Absolutely! We are not happy until you are. We offer unlimited revisions with 10 business days of you receiving the first draft of the design!
⌂ HOW DO I COMPLETE THE DESIGN QUESTIONNAIRE? WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
Immediately after you purchase a package you will be prompted to complete the Questionnaire OR you can come back and complete it whenever you are ready :) On the Questionnaire, you will input the measurements & photos of each wall (don’t worry we give instructions to make this part as easy as possible!)
You will then answer a few questions about the space including any items you would like to stay in your room, any new items you already have in mind and would like to see in the design, your design timeline, favorite online stores and budget range. You will then select from pictures of various design styles that you are drawn to for the space. You will also have the opportunity to link any Pinterest boards or photos that I can use for inspiration.
If you forget to complete the Questionnaire after purchase, not to worry! I will email you the link asking you to complete it before I can begin your design.
⌂ HOW DOES SELECTING PAINT COLORS WORK WITH VIRTUAL DESIGN?
We will recommend various paint and stain options for your exterior if this is needed for your home. We ALWAYS recommend TESTING colors and obtaining SAMPLES of the paint and finishes that we recommend. We are adamant that our clients need to sample before making the final selection because every environment and computer screen shows color differently. It is important to test paint colors at different times of day and in various areas of the space being painted.
⌂ DO YOU OFFER IN-PERSON/ONSITE CONSULTATIONS?
No. We are a 100% virtual company therefore we can work with our clients regardless of location! We can successfully discuss everything through email and chat within our design platform.
⌂ WHAT IF I FORGET TO MENTION SOMETHING ON MY QUESTIONNAIRE?

⌂ DO YOU WORK WITH NEIGHBORHOOD HOAS?
Of course! We are completely open to working within your HOA or historical guidelines. Please let us know the overview of requirements on your design questionnaire. We will reach out after reviewing with any questions!
⌂ DO YOU OFFER BLUEPRINTS FOR EXTERIOR DESIGN STRUCTURES?
No, we are not trained architects. We are designers and we will work to provide you a visual concept of what you can do! You can use these plans as roadmaps of projects to complete now and down the road alongside the professionals of your choosing.
⌂ CAN YOU RECOMMEND PAINTERS OR BUILDING CONTRACTORS?
No, we recommend that you interview multiple contractors in your area and work with companies that you have been referred to by friends, family, and neighbors. There are numerous apps (Next Door, Angies List, etc) to research various professionals. We have found that the best way to find trusted professionals is through a friend/family referral.
⌂ WHERE CAN I PURCHASE ALL YOUR DESIGN RECOMMENDATIONS?
This is the best part, included on your design board is an easily shoppable list of everything included in the plan!
⌂ DO YOU HAVE PACKAGES FOR MY BACKYARD?
Absolutely, you will just need to purchase a Vision board package specifically for your backyard. We can do a visual rendering of your back exterior; however, we do not create deck structures.
