OVERVIEW ::

We loved designing this powder room for our client. Powder rooms are often overlooked when it comes to design, but it’s a place your guests will see often so we love getting to help design them in a unique and timeless way.

In this powder room, we recommended adding board and batten trim work 3/4 the height of the door to add interest and dimension to the space. We selected this stunning grass cloth wallpaper to install above the trim work to add subtle warm contrast and texture agains the white trim work. To ensure that the space remains cohesive with the rest of the home, we continued the hardwood flooring utilized in the main areas of the home into the powered bath to unify the space. We also selected antique brass fixtures to elevate the room adding a touch of formality and interest. We chose a sconce with cloth shades keeps the lighting soft and feminine. The vintage rug and simplistic art prints pull in muted tones that compliment the grasscloth and will stand out against the hardwood floor and white trim work.
