It’s beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS! …okay, let’s be honest, it’s only July but who doesn’t love Christmas in July! They say the shipping delays are going to be a real problem this year and we know these things will go out of stock. You all have said you are ready to shop for it, SO we are here to bring you all the holiday inspo for your front porch! Make sure you grab all of these amazing finds before they’re gone! We’ve done the work for you and put together three different holiday porch designs for you to easily shop and bring to life in your home!
For the winter and holiday season, we love to decorate for the season by bringing in natural objects, greenery, and seasonal color palettes. We love making these simple and easy changes for the winter season so you can start decorating now and keep it all up for the months to come! We love the natural texture that these decorations bring, with pops of red and green for some color. We believe this simple and natural approach makes it easy to decorate for the winter season as a whole and is not overdone!
At Porche & Co., we love decorating a front porch by starting with a wreath on the door, which adds texture and a focal point. Next, we love layering a neutral patterned 2x3 rug with a doormat over it for interest. A variety of throw pillows and a textured throw blanket on the outdoor furniture always adds a cozy touch! We also like to use lanterns of varying height to provide warmth. Last, add some festive decor such as faux, pre-lit pine trees or some strands of garland for that holiday flair!
When decorating a front porch, it’s easy to switch out some decor but also utilize what you already have! If you have throw pillows on outdoor furniture, try throwing in one or two red or holiday pillows to add a pop of color. Another way to repurpose decor is to keep the rug underneath the doormat, and switching up the doormat for a more festive, holiday one! If you have planters on your front porch, just change the greenery or plant to a more winter friendly one.
