OVERVIEW ::
we designed multiple spaces within this clients home, and we are obsessed with the final designs! we love getting to design multiple spaces within client’s homes to ensure cohesiveness throughout. for this client, we designed her living room, breakfast nook, and dining room that are all a part of her open concept main living space. we wanted to achieve a timeless transitional and upscale look in each space.
for the living room, we aimed to create a welcoming, warm and inviting space for her family & friends that is full of texture and muted warm neutrals to compliment the cooler black and natural tones found throughout. this layout will allow for maximum entertaining and seating for guests and family. we chose to layer rugs in this space to create another layer of dimension and a grounding focal point in the open concept living room. we selected a gorgeous jute and cotton blend rug as the base. The texture and light warm color will create a nice grounding focal point for the room. We layered a printed muted vintage rug on top. This gorgeous rug provides so much dimension and ties in all of the warm colors found throughout the room. The propylene composition of the top rug is extremely durable and easy to clean with pets and kids! the sofas we selected provide a touch of modern sleekness and comfort. this will without a doubt be a warm and inviting space to make lots of memories with family and friends alike!
We wanted to keep the breakfast nook cohesive with the living room. We created a bright welcoming space full of warm textures and subtle natural contrast. we selected a gorgeous round table with natural wood tones and a uniquely shaped base. The lines on the base of the table pair well with the vertical curtains, tall corner tree and the spindles on the dining chairs. we also selected some of our favorite sleek and classic Madison dining chairs. the hand beaded chandelier to hand over the dining table will create such a bright textured focal point in the center of the space. this is going to be a beautiful, cozy breakfast nook.
in the dining room, we focused on continuing the warm and welcoming natural textures and tones found throughout the open concept. we chose a gorgeous simple but classic warm light wood table paired with coordinating side chairs with woven seats and upholstered slipcovered end chairs. The upholstered end chairs will help to soften and brighten the space. Above the table, we selected one of our very favorite linear chandeliers composed of woven alpaca rope. This will create such a nice warm textured focal point above the dining room table that can be viewed immediately upon entry to the home. this is going to be a stunning dining room!
