Isn’t this exterior transformation incredible?! We are having so much fun helping you design and reimagine all of your home exteriors! When designing Exteriors, the Porche & Co. team is here to make recommendations from paint colors to landscaping and everything in between. We had a blast designing this colonial transformation and absolutely cannot wait to see the changes come to life!
Every Exterior design comes with a unique set of challenges which quickly become opportunities. When working to renovate various home styles, such as this colonial, a key piece is to work with the elements you can't change. For some homes it's the roof, for some it's the windows, but for this home it was the stone. The stone was stunning so that became the jumping off point for the design. I wanted the color to flow with the stone, not compete with it so I knew a shade of blue/gray would be perfect. In order to keep this colonial beauty a classic home, I turned to Sherwin Williams historical paint palette and fell in love with the shade Downing Slate for the main color for the siding. Adding a large portico, dormers to the roof, and updated landscaping really added some major curb appeal!
We absolutely love this exterior transformation and cannot wait to see it come to life.
