We love getting to share our incredible Exterior Design Rendering Transformations with you all! Isn’t this one absolutely stunning?!
On this charming house, we recommended building a porch on the front with a dormer for added dimension and interest! Adding a new 3/4 glass front door with side lights will allow a plethora of natural light to flow into the interior entryway of the home creating a nice welcoming and inviting feel immediately upon entry. We chose to paint the brick white and update the shake color to a beautiful gray blue that will pair well with the white brick. We updated the garage door and will paint it the same crisp white that will be on the body of the home.
For the landscaping, we opted to remove the front trees as these blocked a large portion of the street view of the home. This home will now have so much curb appeal that we want the homeowners to show it off! We recommended framing the mud room door with pencil shrubs and lining the new front porch with boxwoods. This will really help frame the entire front porch space creating a nice focal point for the eye. Replacing the lighter mulch with black mulch will tie in well with the new ‘Iron Ore’ painted shutters.
One of our main goals of this renovation was to create a focal point on the front door! This home has two doors facing the street. One door leads to a mudroom and the other is the main entryway. The large dormer and porch ensures that there is a clear division of the main entry space which eliminates confusion for guests and to the eye.
