We have been designing spaces virtually in client’s homes across the US for almost four years now. We have so many helpful design tips that we LOVE passing on to you to employ within your own home. We get asked about Modern Transitional styling all the time. It is inviting, timeless and full of interest. Styling a home can seem like a daunting task, but we have a few simple design tips that make it much easier than it seems. Your Fall decor will look amazing with a modern classic and timeless feel that looks professionally styled in NO time with our simple tips below! We can’t think of a better way to welcome friends and family into your home throughout the Fall season.
When considering how to bring Fall into your home, we like to do this subtly instead of overwhelming your home with pumpkins and ghosts. You want to make your home have a welcoming cozy feel without being overwhelming while ushering in the cooler weather.
We love to employ vintage touches while styling any decor, whether it be everyday decor or our favorite Fall touches. A vintage vase, with Fall stems is a great place to start. We also love changing out throw pillows and throw blankets to make a statement. Adding a few neutral pumpkins is a fun way to add Fall without overwhelming your homes color palate. Lastly, changing candles to a Fall scent is a perfect way to bring subtle Fall feelings into your home..

Tip #1:: ADD FALL STEMS TO YOUR VASES
Changing up your stems in your vases is an easy, inexpensive yet effective way to add Fall to your home.
TIP #3::SWITCH YOUR THROW PILLOWS/ BLANKETS
Changing out your throw pillows and blankets to muted neutral Fall colors is the perfect way to add a touch of Fall to your sofa, bedding and even your porch. At Porche & Co. we love using pillows with texture and patterns in muted greens, golds, creams, blacks and a pop of a burgundy.
TIP #2:: Add NEUTRAL PUMPKINs
Using pumpkins in Fall decor can sometimes be daunting BUT try using neutral colored pumpkins in different textures to add that perfect touch of Fall to your consoles, tables and shelves. This will add the perfect flow to your home without having different colors.
TIP #4::CHANGE OUT YOUR SCENTS
At Porche & Co. we love a cozy inviting scent from a candle or ever wax melts when your guests enter your home. Something fun to do as a family is make a Fall scent on the stovetop that can simmer all day. Fall scents are so cozy and warm and the perfect way to bring Fall inside.
