pORCHE TIPS AND TRICKS :: creating the perfect charcuterie board

summer is finally here, and that means summer parties and summer entertaining is right around the corner! we are so excited to give you some easy tips and tricks to create the perfect charcuterie board! when starting from scratch, it may seem a little daunting, but once you have everything you need, i promise it’ll come together!

 
 

Step 1:

You’ll need your favorite cutting board to serve/build on. to go along with this, you will need small ramekins and dishes. these will hold condiments like honey, spreads, mustards, etc. you will also want small appetizer plates and a cheese knife set for serving.

Step 2:

you’ll want to have an assortment of cheeses. some soft (Brie, goat), some semi soft (Gouda, Cheddar), and some hard (Aged Gouda, pecorino). depending on the size of your board, you can do more or less.

Step 3:

in addition to cheeses, you’ll want to have a curated selection of meats. choose your favorites (PROSCIUTTO, salami, soppressata).

Step 4:

you’ll also want to add condiments. this will allow guests to buildt their own crostini. you can put some of these directly on the board, or use your small ramekins.

Step 5:

add your favorite fruit to the board (grapes, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries). this is a great way to cleanse the palate.

Step 6:

be sure to provide an assortment of crackers and crostini’s for your guests to enjoy with the pairings!
