These trends focus around some of our tried and true tricks that we use in our client’s homes in hopes that you can easily take them back and implement them in your own homes. We get asked about Modern Transitional styling all the time. It is inviting, timeless and full of interest. Styling a home can seem like a daunting task, but we have a few simple design trends that make it much easier than it seems…your kids spaces will look timeless and professionally styled in NO time with our simple tips below!
When considering how to create a well designed children’s room there are a few things we like to keep in mind. We like to keep it timeless in the decor that means utilizing natural timeless colors along with some muted pops of color.
When styling your kids rooms we like to keep the space bright and airy. Neutral wall colors, neutral low pile rugs and art work that is timeless in color. We like to make our kids rooms an inviting and relaxing place where they can go to unwind and play.
Adding wallpaper on an accent wall is a great way to add character and individuality while still keeping a kids room timeless. When choosing a wallpaper we like to remember to pick something that will grow with your child as they get older and more mature.
One of the most important things in a kids room is hands down storage! You can never have enough storage when it comes to kids. We love to use baskets for storing blankets, stuffed animal, toys etc. Bookshelves are a great way to organize books, and storage benches make for a beautiful yet functional way to store items.
