We always have SO much fun sharing our design how-tos with you each week. This week we are sharing, “How to refresh your outdoor spaces for Summer”! These trends focus around some of our tried and true tricks that we use in our client’s homes in hopes that you can easily take them back and implement them in your own homes. We get asked about Modern Transitional styling all the time. It is inviting, timeless and full of interest. Styling a home can seem like a daunting task, but we have a few simple design trends that make it much easier than it seems…your outdoor spaces will look timeless and professionally styled in NO time with our simple tips below!
When considering how to refresh your outdoor spaces for Summer there are a few things we like to keep in mind. We like utilizing natural timeless colors along with some muted pops of colors.
When refreshing your outdoor space and turning it into a cozy place for friends and family to gather we love to start with an outdoor rug. A rug outside really grounds a space and brings it all together and gives it that homey feel.
Adding either plants or flowers to different textured pots, planter and baskets adds color and dimension to your outdoor living space. While we love adding color in our pots we also love that pop of color in our outdoor pillows.
This is the best place to bring in that pop of color and get a big change in the way your space feels with the changing of the seasons. While changing pillows with the seasons is fun something we like having during these warm months is outdoor lighting.
Using lanterns or string lights in the summer is a great way to add that inviting feel to any outdoor space and is sure to make your friends and family want to sit outside and enjoy your space.
