Tip #1:: KEEP MOST MAIN DECOR WHILE ADDING SUBTLE WINTER TOUCHES
Keeping most of your main decor items such as mirrors, lamps, and baskets the same makes decorating simple. Just add winter stems to your vases, brass bells for warmth and faux life like garland across the console for the perfect holiday touches and textures.
TIP #3::OPT FOR AN ASYMMETRICAL MANTLE
An Asymmetrical mantle makes a beautiful statement. Adding faux garland cascading down one side of your mantle gives a more organic natural feel. Layering wood beads against the greenery adds texture and dimension. Placing stockings to one side of the mantle along with brass bells continues that asymmetrical look. Add different size Christmas trees for height and texture along with brass candle sticks for brightness to finish off the perfect mantle look.
TIP #5::BRING IN NATURAL OBJECTS AND USE A NEUTRAL SEASONAL COLOR PALETTE
You don’t have to use only red and green at Christmas while decorating. Using a neutral color palette is beautiful and simple. Making small easy changes in your home and adding subtle touches of winter and holiday will make a big impact.
TIP #2:: TRY ADDING A METAL TONE FOR WARMTH AND SUBTLE BRIGHTNESS
Using brass bells, and brass candle sticks in your holiday decor adds so much warmth. Adding these metal tones in your holiday decor adds a subtle brightness while still being neutral and making a big impact.
TIP #4::ADD ORGANIC TEXTURE AND ITEMS OF VARYING HEIGHT
While adding brightness and warmth with brass decor also adding items with texture and varying height will help finish off your Christmas console and mantle decor. Terracotta Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes are a great option as well as wooden trees and ceramic trees. We also love using white, wooden, or brass houses of varying sizes. Reindeer, and nutcrackers are also a beautiful option for adding texture and height.
