OVERVIEW ::
How adorable is this nursery design?! We loved designing this sweet space. in this space, we worked around some of the pieces that our client already had while adding in a few more "modern" but classic masculine touches throughout the space.
for the rug, we selected one of our favorites, the Estie rug from Lulu & Georgia. it is a beautiful light woven rug that will will provide a nice backdrop against the carpet helping to ground the room with brightness and texture. The stripes provide a nice contrast to some the round details and features found throughout the space. for the accent wall, we selected a light blue Swansea grasscloth wall covering. It is a gorgeous shade of blue and lends a nice natural texture creating a simple but cohesive statement along the back wall. This wallpaper is timeless and will transitional well as the room grows with the child.
for extra storage in the space, we chose the Folsom bookshelves. The closed doors on the bottom of the bookshelves provides a decent amount of toy/clothes storage. These bookshelves will also age well with him and can easily be used in other rooms if needed as well.
we love this precious nursery, and we’re so excited for all of the sweet memories that will be made in this space to come with our client’s new addition!

OVERVIEW ::
We originally designed this space as a playroom for our client’s daughter. They are expecting a new addition (the nursery above) so it is time to convert this playroom into a big girl room for their daughter. We wanted to keep some of the pieces from the playroom design (including the gorgeous wallpaper) and work them into her big girl bedroom.
we absolutely adore the bed we placed in this space! it adds so much texture to the space, and provides a nice soft contrast against the existing wallpaper. the bed features a white wood frame with a cane headboard for added warmth and texture. we paired the bed with a white duvet and white standard pillows and then finished it off with some blush accent pillows and a lumbar pillow in front. we sourced a chenille jute rug from Pottery Barn Kids that is also reversible and creates length in the space with its linear pattern. In front of the bed is an upholstered storage bench that defines the end of the bed and will provide loads of storage for toys, books, stuffed animals and blankets.
we are so excited for her to get see her new “big girl” room! we know it will be a space she will enjoy for years to come!
