An Easy Fall Living Room Refresh with Woven Nook
One of my favorite ways to refresh our home for a new season is by changing the textiles. It makes the entire room feel different without replacing furniture or bringing in an overwhelming amount of seasonal decor.
For fall, I partnered with Woven Nook to add warmer tones, timeless patterns and plenty of cozy texture to our living room. I chose a mix of rich olive, soft mauve, warm brown and vintage-inspired prints that complement our neutral sectional and textured swivel chairs while still feeling natural in our home.
For the sectional, I layered the 26-inch Leighton in Mauve with three 22-inch Dark Olive Basics covers, then added Arbor in both the 18-inch and 22-inch sizes. Marigold and Finlay, both in 18-inch, bring in additional pattern and warm fall color, while the 12-by-20-inch Willow lumbar adds a classic stripe. I also used two matching 22-inch Arbor covers on our boucle swivel chairs to help connect the entire living room.
What makes Woven Nook especially clever is its insert + cover system. Their premium faux-down inserts are intentionally overstuffed, so they create that full, plush designer look without needing to size up. Each cover is paired with the exact same insert size: an 18-inch cover uses an 18-inch insert, a 22-inch cover uses a 22-inch insert and so on.
For this room, I used:

Once you own the inserts, you can simply switch the covers whenever you want a different look. That means I can enjoy this warm, collected combination throughout fall and then swap a few of the covers for playful Halloween patterns as we get closer to October. The room will feel completely different, but I’ll be using these same inserts underneath.
The covers also fold flat when they aren’t being used, which is much easier than finding somewhere to store an entire closet full of seasonal pillows! I love that the designs feel elevated without making the room feel too formal or precious. These are beautiful pillows made for real, lived-in homes—and the cotton covers can be machine washed in cold water on a gentle cycle and laid flat to dry.
