Emily’s New Home Tour - Modern Farmhouse in the Countryside of Georgia - Part II
Welcome to part two of our New Home Tour blog series! After months of planning, designing, and making this house feel like home, we're so excited to finally start sharing the finished spaces with you. In this post, we're walking you through more of our favorite rooms —primary bathroom, guest suite, primary bedroom, and dining room. Each space has its own personality, and we’ve thoughtfully curated every detail to be both functional and beautiful.

our PRIMARY BATHROOM
This bathroom is my sanctuary—the place I retreat to for some true me time after long days, especially after riding horses. I almost always end the night with a soak in the freestanding white tub, which sits in the perfect spot to catch the softest evening light. The walk-in shower with three shower heads feels like a dream with its clean lines and calming finishes, and the whole space is designed to feel serene and spa-like. We kept the palette simple and fresh, letting the textures and shapes do the talking. It’s the kind of bathroom that makes you want to light a candle, close the door, and stay awhile.
our GUEST SUITE
Our guest suite is arguably the coziest corner of the house and a true afternoon light magnet thanks to the west-facing windows and our Two Shade bamboo shades that make sleeping in a breeze. We designed this space to feel warm and inviting, with thoughtful touches that make our guests feel instantly at home. The unique ceiling shapes create a few charming nooks, one of which houses a cozy seating area with my favorite Pottery Barn lamp—the perfect spot to unwind with a book. There's a vintage-style dresser that doubles as a vanity for morning makeup routines, and a buttery soft Pottery Barn leather couch that’s honestly comfortable enough to sleep on. We topped it off with a clean bed dressed in crisp white linens, artwork that brings the trees indoors, and our go-to Amazon nightstands—modern, functional, and a total steal.
our PRIMARY BEDROOM
The primary bedroom is one of my favorite places to spend time—I start most mornings here with a cup of coffee and my laptop, while my dog naps happily on the pillows. There's a cozy little nook that makes the space feel extra special, with a pair of Alistair swivel armchairs and my favorite unique lamp from Joss & Main. But the real standout? The automatic woven shades. With the press of a button, they glide open or closed—it honestly feels like a hotel. And just outside the window? A view of our chicken coop, which I love checking in on from the comfort of bed.
our DINING ROOM
Our dining room is nestled right in the heart of our open-concept main floor, seamlessly connecting the kitchen, bar area, and living room. It’s a space that’s both functional and full of character—anchored by the Visual Comfort concrete ceramic pendants that I absolutely fell in love with and had to have. The woven dining chairs bring in the same natural wood and texture that flows throughout the home, creating a cohesive and inviting feel. One of our favorite pieces in the space is the custom sideboard from Burch Lane, who has designed several beautiful elements in our home. It’s not just gorgeous—it’s practical too, holding all our plates and napkins for easy entertaining during dinner parties.
