Kid Friendly Outdoor Ideas for the Summer

Now that summer is here, all our family wants to do is spend time outdoors soaking in the summer sun! There are so many ways to make your outdoor space as much fun for your kids as it is for you. 

One of our favorite kid friendly decorating options is custom designed and decorated playhouses! Although more expensive, they are well worth the investment for a luxe and eye-catching playhouse that will match the style of your home and last years! Pool floats are another super popular and fun way to add a pop of color and whimsy to your outdoor space! They come in so many fun prints, colors, shapes and sizes, you can find one that the adults will enjoy just as much as the kids, making them a great addition to any pool party. Outdoor games are another way we love to spend time outdoors together as a family! Our favorites are bocci ball, croquet, and cornhole. Again, these games are just as much fun for adults as they are for kids, so you’re definitely going to get a lot of use out of them. Lastly, once the sun begins to set, we love curling up in soft linen blankets, or heating up the pool to watch movies as a family on our outdoor inflatable screen! And no movie night is complete without an outdoor candy and snack bar. We recommend having two- one of the adults and one for kids, packed with their favorite movie treats, juice boxes, and candies.
