OVERVIEW ::

We had so much fun designing these children’s bathrooms for our client’s daughter and son. When designing these spaces, we kept a consistent theme throughout each bathroom, but employed some differences based on gender and aesthetics for each!

For paint color, we suggested Sherwin Williams Heron Plume. This is a white paint color with slight griege undertones. Because these spaces are smaller, this color combined with the light but unique and patterned tile work throughout, will help the spaces to feel brighter and larger!

We wanted to keep these bathrooms gender specific but also classic and timeless to be enjoyed for years to come. We began the process selecting a unique vanity color for each space. We chose chrome finishes in the daughter’s bathroom as this leans slightly more feminine and black finishes in the son’s bathroom. We selected penny tile for the floor of both showers- this is unique but also very timeless with a slight vintage feel. We kept the walls of their showers very classic with subway tile, but chose a fun herringbone pattern in the daughter’s bathroom and a brick lay pattern in the son’s. We picked fun bathmats and wall art to really pop in each space that reflected the children’s personalities.
