OVERVIEW ::

We got to step outside of our traditional interior design single family home scope and design this fun dental office lobby! We wanted to ensure that it would be functional for their clients while also giving it an updated aesthetic. We kept the lobby bright and inviting but full of interest, texture, warmth and a few subtle muted color pops. We chose a layout for this space that will create an open entry into the seating area for clients and allow for a welcoming beverage station between the check-in window and the seating area that the clients can enjoy while they wait.

For the rug, we selected a Ruggable that can easily be spot treated and washed if needed with the heavy foot traffic. For seating, we went with an affordable but durable 76.5" leather sofa. We opted for the leather option as this will stand up to clients "wear and tear" better than an upholstered option. It is easier to clean and the leather will still look nice when it becomes worn with time. In the corner, we placed a swivel chair as a comfy magazine resting place for clients to relax in while waiting for the dentist. It’s one of our favorite slipcovered swivel chairs from Pottery Barn! The Performance fabric is extremely durable (fade and stain resistant) and easily cleanable. The slipcover aspect of this chair also allows for the entire cover to be removed and washed if needed.

For the beverage station, we chose a wide cabinet to be placed between the windows with a unique cohesive statement piece of artwork above. The cabinet will have ample storage for drink supplies and lobby reading materials. On the windows, we chose woven shades framed by lined white cotton curtains with black matte hardware. The window treatments will really help elevate and tie together the design within the space.

We are so excited to see this office lobby space come to life and for her clients to enjoy it for years to come!
