OVERVIEW ::
Happy Monday! Today we are so excited to be sharing the details on this Modern Classic Bedroom Design. This client already has some GORGEOUS beams and high vaulted ceilings in their bedroom. When designing this space, we wanted to use an inviting yet muted color palette to pair nicely with the brown beams and greige wall color. We suggested Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray for the walls to create a nice soft greige backdrop with the grey, blues and wood tones throughout. We suggested Sherwin Williams Pure White so the wood beams will really pop on a crisp white ceiling.
The large vintage rug will create a muted but colorful backdrop for the room. The weathered grey nightstands with subtle dark blue undertones will pull out the grey and blue tones found in the rug and continued throughout the space within the artwork and pillows. Subtle warm brass accents will be pulled in through the vintage floor reading lamp, brass framed mirror and decor accents throughout. The space will boast a very cohesive inviting vibe full of warmth and muted colorways.
When designing spaces, functionality for our clients is just as important to us as the overall aesthetic of the space. We want the space to look beautiful while still being very functional. For this client, extra storage for clothes was really important, so we chose an extra wide dresser and nightstands that double as smaller dressers for additional storage. The floor length mirror will add function and also help reflect some of the natural light flowing into the space back into the bedroom.
We are so excited to watch this design come to life! We had so much fun creating it for our client, and it’s sure to be a space they love for many years to come.
