OVERVIEW ::

Designing this playroom for our client was so much fun! We wanted to create a design full of texture and interest while also ensuring this would be a space for the kids to grow into. We used a large sectional to separate the space into two sections - a nook for toys and books and another area to be used for television and video games. Having storage space is key in any playroom, so we were sure to include functional storage throughout with baskets, storage cabinets, and simple black floating shelves for books. And who doesn’t love a fun wallpaper accent wall to spice things up a bit?!

We utilized black, rattan and warm wood tones throughout the space and added a fun pop of color in one of the rugs. Both rugs are by Ruggable and are absolutely amazing for high traffic areas or kid rooms as they can easily be tossed in the wash to clean up a mess and look brand new! The sofa is a gray performance fabric to ensure durability as well. We chose large black frames to hang over the sofa with black and white portraits to make the space personal yet still feel polished. For window treatments, we chose a roman shade to add additional texture to the space and to avoid curtains getting in the way of play time.

This playroom is going to be such a fun and functional area for the kids to play, and we are so excited see it come together!
