OVERVIEW ::

We are so excited to be sharing this beautiful and vibrant living room design today! This client already had several existing pieces of furniture, including a bold black sofa, so we worked to create a design around those existing pieces. With such a bold couch, this room was fun from the beginning! When designing this space, we knew the couch would be the statement piece, so we worked to find more neutral pieces in cream and brown, incorporated additional black accent pieces and provided a pop of rust in the layered rug.

We chose to layer a jute rug with an incredibly fun rust colored accent rug on top to ground the space, but also to bring in some additional color and interest. Keeping with the black tones of the existing sofa and metal coffee and end table, we chose simple black and white artwork for the walls and a black metal console underneath.

The gorgeous windows were already framed with soft cream curtains so we added driftwood roman shades for additional texture and interest. The tones of the jute rug, baskets and blinds help tie the space together and provide some warmer tones in contrast to the bold statements and colors throughout. We choose cream swivel accent chairs with a low profile and added patterned black linen pillows to tie back to the black couch.

This living room is sure to be a space our client will enjoy for years to come, and we are thrilled to see it coming to life!
